  Very informative visitor center that explains the origion of Tenerife and Teide. You can also watch a little movie about Teide, lift different types of volcanic stones and visit the botanical garden. There is no costs and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is advisable to go there at the beginning of your visit as they also give you a map of the national park that includes points of interest, look outs and some walks.

  Anyone interested in the geological formation of Tenerife and the other islands will be fascinated. Staff are brilliant. Very informative, speaking many languages. Lots of interesting footpaths surrounding the centre. And it's free!!
